Can I use the force?
The short answer here is yes, non-Jedis can, and do, use the Force.
When Obi-Wan Kenobi first introduces Luke to the Force in Episode IV, he describes the Force as “an energy field created by all living things.” The Force, then, is always present, whether Jedi are there or not.

How do we use force in real life?
These are the Force powers I could use on a regular basis:
- Force push. In the Star Wars universe, both Jedi and Sith use the Force push in combat and for practical purposes such as moving obstacles.
- Force lightning. Force lightning isn’t used for positive purposes.
- Enhanced reflexes.
- Mind trick.
What does it mean to be one with the Force?
It should really mean “becoming a jedi master”. Being one with the force means drawing powers from it. It means letting the force take control. In order to let the force flow through you, you have to concentrate on where the force is flowing and have the patience to let it flow.
Is the force genetic?
Theory 1: The Force is inherited through a de novo autosomal dominant mutation. It’s okay if you don’t understand the genetics terminology. What this actually means is that the Force is a trait which parents pass on to their kids who pass them onto their kids.
