Can you use a springform pan for a regular cake?
A springform pan can be used in place or a regular cake pan in any recipe.
When the ring is closed, they bake cakes (or other baked goods) in exactly the same way as a standard one-piece pan.
The cake can be served directly on the pan’s base or carefully slid off onto a cake plate or othe serving platter.
How do you get a cake out of a springform pan?

- Insert a knife between the cake and springform pan.
- Open the latch.
- Extend the latch so that the sides of the pan separate from the cake.
- Lift the cake free.
- Using both hands, gently lift the cake upward around the edges to loosen it from the bottom of the pan.
